We're in the process of developing Qultura Fallback, which is our native community support project. This is all about first contact unconditional community support.
Now you might think that July 19th 2021 is when the COVID 19 precautions and lockdowns end and everything goes back to normal. We ask you to reconsider this 'going back to normal' idea. Some people have died. Some people have committed suicide. There's a lot of people out there who are still struggling right now, and many people dealing with issues such as loneliness, depression, mental health issues, and who are still struggling to rebuild their lives.
In London we have been asked by Wandsworth Council to focus more on developing community support projects. This is it. We are close to opening our first Community Drop In at the ROSE Community Centre and are also seeking to recruit community support volunteers and activists who will help develop community support. No experience is necessary but we expect you to have an open mind, be willing, be real and not flaky. We provide mentoring, resources and support.
We're using the space below to post our opportunities in the hope that we can find a few people to be able to move forward with plans to open our Community Drop In and embark on a major community support initiative this coming winter with the homeless in London. Can you help?
