Welcome to the London Vigil

The London Vigil is a new developing community project which is against capital punishment and where we hold vigil outside the US Embassy each time someone is executed in the United States, which more often than not is in Texas.

This is not a protest against capital punishment, but rather a show of solidarity for the families and loved ones of condemned prisoners on Death Row in the US who have to watch their fathers, sons, mothers, daughters and other relatives being put to death before being allowed to touch and hug their corpse for 15 minutes after the execution.

This project is about setting up a project where people can stand in vigil in London in support of such families each time there's an execution in the US.
