The best way of discovering what dreamweaving is all about is to actually turn up and take part in one of our dreamweaving workshops and meetings.
Not that there is all that much to it, because much of what it's about is sitting around chilling and just talking to different people and getting involved in some pleasant social interaction. The only real difference is that the conversations go deeper into the more meta-physical stuff and you can get to talk about stuff which you probably would find difficult to talk about with people who you regularly interact with.
For sure there may be some anxiety, or fear, or a sense of unease, but you realize that there's always going to be a sense of unease, anxiety or even fear whenever you go from the known to the unknown. Fear is just that sensation you experience whenever you come across something unknown or unfamiliar to you. If you constantly avoid doing anything which causes fear, anxiety or unease you run the risk of being imprisoned in your own comfort zone and bubble. However if you do struggle with shyness, social anxiety or a lack of self-esteem or self-confidence there's some Opening Questions which you can download and use on your smartphone or print out to help you out. You can also come for some guided meditation in your own space if you need it.
There's no point in asking for specifics about what happens because dreamweaving is all about 'feeling' the environment and being spontaneous. There is no set schedule or plan, just principles and everything takes place spontaneously. The only way to know is to turn up and be there.
Qultura is a developing mystical community resource which is both an alternative dream weaving community and a Human Library project. Centred in Nine Elms, London we offer free access to Qultura methodology, the Qultura community and regularly scheduled Human Library events. Through what we do we offer opportunities to develop consciousness, mindfulness and community to anyone interested in exploring and developing ways of living alternative to modern mainstream social and cultural values.
