About the Qultura community

The Qultura community is designed to be an alternative dream weaving community through which anyone can successfully develop their own unique Qultura methods from Qultura methodology.

"In order to awaken, first of all one must realize that one is in a state of sleep. And in order to realize that one is indeed in a state of sleep, one must recognize and fully understand the nature of the forces which operate to keep one in the state of sleep, or hypnosis. It is absurd to think that this can be done by seeking information from the very source which induces the hypnosis."

So we start with a quotation from George Ivanovich Gurdjieff who was an Armenian mystic, philosopher and spiritual teacher. Gurdjieff taught that people are not conscious of themselves and thus live their lives in a state of 'hypnotic waking sleep'. What Gurdjieff was alluding to was the process of socialization and the social and mentally conditioning we are all put through to make us functioning members of society.

But as Stella Baker, one of the two co-founders of Qultura points out, the Ego and social conditioning is insufficient to get you through life. As we get older and mature life gets increasingly more complex and complicated. None of have what we need to get through life because we are programmed to think and behave a certain way as adults and we lose contact with our innate natural curiosity and intuitive capabilities. Qultura is designed in such a way to make it possible for anyone to recover those essential capabilities which we all need for the later stages of our lives.

The Qultura community

The Qultura community is a developing mystical community resource designed to enable anyone to develop their own individual Qultura methods through a practice known as dream weaving. Dream weaving is way of developing conscious awareness and mindfulness through magic. To make things clear we provide the following definitions:

mindfulness
This is your natural state of mind which can be defined as having presence of mind and mental clarity without excessive anxiety, fear, intrusive thoughts or preconceived notions of your environmental reality. In mysticism we talk about being centred, being rooted, or being grounded.
dream weaving

The practice of literally 'weaving together' different experiences, memories, narratives, stories, thoughts, feelings, emotions together to either create new reality or access a different level of reality (this is explained more in the 'How Qultura works' section.

What you are doing is constantly seeking out connections between your past experiences (including trauma), your memory, your mind, your environment and other people. This is also known as 'mirroring'. Dream weaving is very similar to what we normally do anyway so once you get the hang of it you will realize that it is a simple, natural and effective means of centring yourself and returning to a state of mindfulness.

magic
Magic is essentially a connection and unity between an individual (or self) and an environment. Another word for magic is yoga.
mysticism
Mysticism is essentially the occult or unknown from an individual perspective. Anything which you think is mysterious, unknown, or anything you don't understand, that is mysticism from your perspective.

The way Qultura is designed is that you come into the Qultura community to interact with other people in the community and through the community to create a process of awakening. Qultura methodology is made accessible to you through this website, through an e-book, or our other Qultura Core website for the purposes of self-study, and the Qultura community is designed to give you access to a social environment and community through which you can develop your own Qultura methods through dream weaving practice.

The Community Message Board

Access to the Qultura community, Qultura methodology and various mystical resources is made accessible to everyone completely free of charge, free from belief systems and ideology, and also free from any societal obligation. To join the Qultura community all you need to do is register on our Community Message Board. We're currently rebuilding the community after the COVID lockdowns (prior to COVID we were a real time community with little or no online presence) so we're a small but developing London wide community but plan to expand as Qultura becomes more widely known.

Keep in mind that there is no teaching of any sort in the Qultura community - no courses, workshops, lectures, retreats and so on. We give you access to Qultura methodology, mystical resources, and explain the practicalities in the section 'How Qultura works', and you figure it out from there for yourself. The basis of all dream weaving activity is primary social interaction - social interaction which is pleasant, positive, reaffirming and insightful. Keep in mind what we actually discuss together and do together is not the primary objective. The primary objective of the Qultura community is to gain access from other people so as to answer questions you are asking with your own internal answers. You know all the answers to the questions you're asking, but the answers are buried deep within your subconscious memory.

The whole point of developing a Qultura method is not to follow anybody else's teachings or belief systems, but to figure out your own answers and create your own methods based on your life experiences, memories, and past karma. Instead of following other people's belief systems blindly, being 'asleep' as Gurdjieff put it, the point is to figure out who you really are as much as possible, to become 'real' and to figure our your individual truth and what is known as your karmic direction in life. You see when you figure that out you develop what is known as a 'flow of life' and your life should become much easier and simpler.

We also develop various community activities and community events in community spaces where you can meet members of the community and other people in real time, face to face contact, and get to know new people, make friends, and so on. You can find out more about our community activities and events in the 'Community' section of this website.
